After seven years providing technical support for hard-to-use interfaces, Dan found his calling when he sat as a participant in a usability study. He quit his job and enrolled in the MBA+MS in Human Factors in Information Design program at Bentley University. After graduating from Bentley, Dan spent two years at an interactive agency performing usability and neuromarketing research studies. Dan was on the education committee for UXPA International for 2012 & 2013, oversaw the conference schedule for UXPA Boston from 2011-2017, and is the current president of the UXPA Boston chapter. He holds a BA in Psychology from Brandeis University and is particularly interested in visual space perception, Frank Zappa, kayaking, and driving his MINI (Doreen). Dan is currently the vice president of experience research at Mad*Pow, an experience design agency in New England.
