As an Experience Designer you have more power than you think. Mobile is not about the ability to personalize content, make it specific for a certain geolocation or the ability to do something create with the hardware like the camera anymore; it is an extension of a person’s behavior, thoughts and memories. Big companies tend to build habit-forming products that steer social behavior aligned with business models, but is that something we need? Are you sure you are creating products people love? Are we giving users superpowers or big companies? Shouldn’t we be more responsible towards mankind? A few things to take home and consider practicing our daily job.
