Registration is now open for Big Design Conference 2012. Mark your calendars for May 31 to June 2, 2012. You will want to buy your ticket early because we do expect to sell out. Our keynote speakers include Jared Spool, Stephen Anderson, and Sharon Rush. You will want to come everyday to network and learn with your old friends and meet some new ones, too.

You are going to see talks, panels, demos, and workshops. Play with the latest technology in the Big Design 2012 trade show. We plan to have social events like Casino Night and Film Night to meet with other like-minded people.

Call for Speakers

Share your thoughts with the Big Design community. Partner, put aside your stage fright, submit your idea, and see what happens. Each talk run for 45 minutes. Individual talks, co-speakers, or panels are welcome! We have many tracks and over 50 slots to fill. We do have a “no diva” policy, though.

You can submit to any of these tracks: design, development, content, usability, career, and more. We do want you to talk about exciting new trends, scrappy methods, case studies, practical answers, inspirational talks, demos, and so on.

NOTE: We are thinking about adding a film track, too. We would like to showcase films, shorts, and animation at the conference. How cool is that!

Submission Details & Deadlines

All submissions are due by January 31, 2012. We will review them and let you know. If we are interested in your topic, we might ask you to refine your talk to better fit the program. We will notify the speakers by the end of February.

When you submit, we want you to send the following things:

• Title of talk
• Type of presentation (individual talk, panel, co-speakers)
• Where it fits (usability, design, mobile, gaming, development)
• Two paragraph description (something we could add to the website)
• What People Will Learn (yes, we need learning objectives)
• Brief Bio (nothing long-winded)
