March 31: HTML 5 Workshop in Dallas
HTML5 is everywhere and it is everything. It will transform your simple website into a magical unicorn flying over a double rainbow. It will do all this and more. (Really? No, not really.) While, the buzz and hype surrounding HTML5 may be hyperbole, the additional functionality under the HTML5 canopy can, in fact, bring an enhanced richness to your web applications, both in Mobile and Desktop setting.
In this full day training we’ll explore several aspects of HTML5, from the simple markup enhancements to more advanced topics like offline storage and geolocation. Come ready to learn and code!

About Your Instructor
Mark McSpadden has been building full stack web applications for the last 10 years. Over the last 6 years he has been using Ruby on Rails to build applications for small businesses, large enterprises, and random web contests whenever he gets a free moment. He is the organizer of the Dallas Ruby Brigade and recently organized the first Dallas Code Retreat as part of the Global Day of Code Retreat.
Mark loves to spend his non-screen time cooking, eating, laughing, playing, and exploring the world with his wife and 2 young daughters.
