July 13th Meetup: An Evening with Eric Reiss

We are excited to announce An Evening with Eric Reiss on July 13th to celebrate the publication of his new book, Usable Usability: Simple Steps for Making Stuff Better— now available on Amazon. Eric is great presenter and CEO of The FatDUX Group.

Eric will be sharing his experience of how to understand user’s needs, techniques for exceeding user’s expectations, and a host of hard won advice for improving the overall quality of a user’s experience. The talk will be followed by a book signing and social time.

Eric Reiss has been meddling with design projects for longer than he cares to remember. Besides running FatDUX, Eric lectures on design principles at the Bauhaus University in Weimar, is a former Professor of Usability and Design at the IE Business School in Madrid.  his company has sponsored Big Design Conference, too.  We love this guy!

In his downtime, Eric serves on the advisory boards of several universities and institutes in both Europe and the United States. His Web Dogma, a design philosophy that transcends both fashion and technology, has been adopted by 1000s of developers and companies around the world.

This is also your chance to check out our host, Connective Hub, a state-of-the-art meeting place for local startups and entrepreneurs in Addison, Texas.  You will see Michael Bailey, the owner at the meeting.  Plus, you will get a tour of their facility.
