Biography
Chris Hass is a UX Strategist, human factors/usability consultant, business development specialist, client manager, grant writer. He is eperienced in UX lab- and field-based evaluations, research design, usability testing, interface and interaction design, classroom training, feature and technical writing. He has expertise with accessibility research and design. Chris is the former president of the Usability Professionals’ Association International (UXPA), former president of the UXPA Boston Chapter, and current advisory board member of UXPA Boston.
Chris is a former Sr. VP of Experience Design at Mad*Pow. He helped to establish Mad*Pow’s Boston office and UX research team in 2009, and specializes in UX research, particularly conducting studies with persons who have disabilities. Chris was the Interim Director of the Bentley Design & Usability Center, a Sr. Research Scientist at American Institutes for Research, and a WWW Specialist at Harvard Medical School. He is a tabletop gaming aficionado and often carries fun and unusual games in his backpack.
