Biography
Dana’s career started just as the internet and e-commerce emerged. She was involved in early e-commerce at JCPenney including the launch of jcpenney.com. She joined Travelocity in its infancy and spent 13 years helping build the business through UX and design. In 2011, Dana was recruited to Citibank by a former Travelocity CEO and COO where she rebuilt the UX team which had been almost completely outsourced in 2008 and grew that team. At both the Travelocity and Citi jobs, she led teams close to 50 professionals and discovered one of the things she loves the most about her work is the people and helping them build their careers.
In 2016, Dana rejoined Sabre as a UX Partner which includes a team of about 20 designers in Southlake, Krakow, and Bangalore. Her days include helping the team, clearing roadblocks, and pulling people together across creative, business, and technology.
Dana has a BA in Journalism/Marketing from SFA and a Masters in Journalism and Marketing from UNT. She lives in Bedford with her husband Keith and enjoys spending time with family and friends, travel, binge-watching top series, and collecting recipes she never cooks.
