Dana Walter is a UX leader, who has led design teams for four large brands. She enjoys being a “people manager” to help her employees to grow and stretch themselves. Dana instinctively knows exactly when an employee needs her support, Plus, she is not afraid to set clear boundaries and make difficult decisions when they are necessary. Dana has an innate skill at working through conflicts and finding win-win solutions between rival peers as well as her subordinates.
While many people bring up her “people skills”, Dana enjoys solving complex technical and cross-departmental problems. She could rapidly pinpoint all key stakeholders, get their buy-in and support, and move stalled projects to completion quickly. Dana has recently been tasked with getting Design Thinking established throughout her company.
