Biography

Holly Schroeder is a UX researcher, instructor, artist, and writer. Her interest in people and what makes them tick transformed into a passion when she swiped her mom’s RCA cassette recorder to play “interview.” She believes accessibility is the secret sauce for designing awesome products. Her curiosity endures, fueling her passion for research. Currently, she works on a research team at a healthcare company.

She enjoys hiking, globetrotting via online events, painting, photography, and DIY projects. Holly lives in St. Louis, Missouri, with her husband and their crew of rescue pets. Holly is copresident of the St. Louis Experience Design group (STLX) and is an executive board member of a11y STL. She has a bachelor of arts in psychology from the University of Missouri in St. Louis and a master of arts in nonprofit management from Washington University in St. Louis, as well as certificates in UX and web development.
