For more than 20 years, Joe Sokohl has crafted meaningful user experiences by using leadership, content strategy, information architecture, interaction design, and user research.
He focuses on helping organizations understand who uses their products, how they interact with their products, and what benefits the company might realize by offering excellent experiences. He practices the mantra “UX for the rest of us.” Lately he concentrates on productivity tools, Web apps, and other internal interfaces that folks use in their day-to-day stuff. As a UX leader with Coforma, Joe offers change throughout diverse engagements, from healthcare provider intranets to government agency portals to financial advisor platforms. Focusing efforts on collaborative, distributed design, he provides strategic counsel for clients while keeping an ethical eye on user success. When not UXing, Sokohl passionately rides his motorcycle, writes about riding, history, and whiskey, and hikes with his wife, Karen, and their dog, Woody.
