Ryan Lutterbach is Associate Vice President of Design at AT&T, where he manages a team of rockstars who not only demonstrate excellent product and service design, but also educate in Design Thinking and scale DesignOps throughout the entire AT&T enterprise.
20 years ago, Ryan’s first job out of school was “Information Architect” and he’s been helping companies build design and UX capabilities ever since. He’s worked with organizations as diverse as J. Walter Thompson, Lockheed Martin, the US Air Force, Orbitz, Unilever, Proctor & Gamble, Sears and Kmart, running product and design teams large and small. He co-founded a digital advertising startup, holds
multiple patents, won a JD Power Award for his work at Orbitz, oversaw a Cannes Lion award-winning Super Bowl campaign, and mentors in product design with TechStars.
With degrees in film and business from the University of Notre Dame, Ryan has kept with a constant eye toward storytelling and communication throughout his career, while connecting design to business as a partner in strategy and success.
