Wayne Miller

Wayne founded ExxonMobil’s first UX team in 2006. Since then, he has worked with a variety of user interfaces, such as: Engineering and Geoscience applications, Downstream Retail, Supply Chain Management, and Customer Relationship Management. During that time, Wayne’s helped UX grow globally from simple usability testing into an integrated process across many of ExxonMobil’s applications.

Today, Wayne is the UX Supervisor for ExxonMobil’s Upstream (the part of the business that finds oil and gas and gets it out of the ground). He and his team help users turn complex problems into simple designs that ultimately deliver faster, better business answers.

Wayne works at the ExxonMobil campus in Houston, Texas, where he’s also active with the Houston User Experience Professional’s Association. Wayne has a Bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University and a Master’s degree from the University of Kansas.
